Five-a-side games fall apart constantly — two people bail, and suddenly you're playing 4-a-side or not at all. We built Pitch Up so that doesn't happen. Claim a spot, pay to lock it in, and if we don't reach enough players, everyone gets refunded.
Football is a contact sport and injuries happen. By claiming a spot, you confirm you're fit to play and you take part entirely at your own risk.
To the fullest extent the law allows, Pitch Up FC and its organisers are not liable for, and you waive any claim against us for:
The venue is run independently of Pitch Up FC. Follow its rules while you're there.
If the game doesn't get enough players, everyone is refunded in full. We check 1 hour before kickoff. If we're short, the game is cancelled, you'll be notified, and your refund is sent straight away.
NB: use your phone number as your PayShap reference. We refund to that number, so without it we can't match your payment or pay you back.
Find a substitute first if you can — that keeps the game intact for everyone else. If you need to cancel:
Message us here as soon as you can. Cancellations aren't processed automatically; the time you message us is the time we go by.
Zero tolerance for hate speech or discrimination — normal on-pitch banter is fine.
Message either of us on WhatsApp — we'll get back to you as soon as we can.
Two questions, then you're in.
We WhatsApp you when a game needs players, with a link to Pitch Up. Admin-only comms, no noise.
What we keep. Your name, your WhatsApp number, and when you said you can play. Nothing else.
What we use it for. Telling you about games near you and confirming your spot. That's it — we don't sell it and we don't pass it on.
Joining the WhatsApp group. That's a separate choice. If you join, other players in the group can see your number — same as any group chat. You can sign up without joining.
Remembered on your phone. To save you typing, this phone remembers your name, numbers and shirt number for the next game link we send. That stays on your phone, it's not an account, and clearing your browser data wipes it.
Getting out. Message us "delete me" and we remove everything, no questions.
